Psalm 1 says, How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, but their delight is in the LORD’s Word. They are like trees planted by strems; they bear their fruit in season, their leaves never wither. Not so the wicked, who are like chaff driven by the wind. Purpose in your heart to be like the tree that is planted near the LORD’s living stream of water so you will never be uprooted no matter how violent is wind can be.
يخبرنا سفر المزامير في إصحاحه الأول أنَّ الذين يرفضون نصيحة الأشرار ويسرون بكلمة الرب يكونون مباركين ويكونون كشجرة مغروسة عند مجاري المياه، التي تعطي ثمرها في أوانه، وورقها لا يذبل. أما الأشرار فيكونون كالعصافة التي تذريها الريح. صمم في قلبك بأن تكون كالشجرة المغروسة عند أنهار الله الحية حتى لا تقلع بالرغم من شدة الريح.
