Hebrews 12 says, You must submit to [correction for the purpose of] discipline; God is maybe dealing with you as sons and daughters; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all]. So when the LORD tests your faith, just know that He wants to increase your faith.
نقرأ في الإصحاح الثاني عشر من سفر العبرانيين: "إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَحْتَمِلُونَ التَّأْدِيبَ يُعَامِلُكُمُ اللهُ كَالْبَنِينَ. فَأَيُّ ابْنٍ لاَ يُؤَدِّبُهُ أَبُوهُ؟ وَلكِنْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ بِلاَ تَأْدِيبٍ، قَدْ صَارَ الْجَمِيعُ شُرَكَاءَ فِيهِ، فَأَنْتُمْ نُغُولٌ لاَ بَنُونَ." فعندما يختبر الرب إيمانك، فتأكد بأنه يريد أن يزداد إيمانك."
